Audi has teased its new R8 prototype, in the hands of Frank Stippler, winner of the 24-hour Nurburgring endurance race. Although camouflaged, we can see the car is typically low and wide with a familiar looking front end, although the rear appears to be more angular and features a downforce-enhancing diffuser. Performance figures have yet to be announced but Audi has confirmed the naturally aspirated V10 engine pumps out 610bhp, and 560 Nm of torque.
