Volkswagen Arteon to debut in Geneva

A new fastback model from Volkswagen - the Arteon - will debut in Geneva.

Positioned above the Passat, Volkswagen describes the new car as combining ‘avant-garde’ design with a high level of versatility - a the key objective for Arteon designers and developers.

This resulted in an interior architecture which VW promises is ‘exceptionally spacious’ with ample head and leg room in all seats. Key design elements of the Arteon include its completely new front end, in which the LED headlights and daytime running lights merge with the chrome-plated crossbars of the radiator grille and the bonnet. The car’s ‘shoulder’ section is another defining feature, says VW.

Other equipment making their debut in the Arteon includes the latest generation of driver assistance systems.

The Volkswagen Arteon will be unveiled to the public for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show (9-19 March).
