Perfect - quiet and peaceful yet fast enough at low revs. When you need it though there is power by the bucketful and a brilliant soundtrack. The handling, steering and gearchange are also brilliant - think MX-5, but slightly bigger...
Design:
Lots of helpful features - for example lights under the wing mirrors to light up the floor around the car when you unlock it in the dark and those unique rear doors. All very well thought out.
Comfort:
The ride can be a little harsh at low speeds in town, but much better than you might expect of a car on standard 18" wheels. Seats are very good - on mine they are heated and electrically adjusted. Very quiet when taking it easy and the Bose stereo is one of the best I have heard.
Safety:
I can't really comment here - although it does seem to have plenty of passive safety features such as airbags and active ones such as ABS and traction control.
Reliability:
Not a single fault in 2 years.
Value:
For what you get for the money it is amazing value for money.
Running:
OK - you are not likely to get 30MPG out of this car (although I have been close to this on a long run) and it costs over £400 a year in roadtax. However, you can buy these cars almost new for such big discounts (mainly because of this) that the savings you make more than compensate for many, many years of ownership. Even at list price, what you get is amazing value for money - a rear wheel drive coupe designed from scratch - not based on another model - with a unique engine and fully spec'ed (no expensive option list required).
